Between September and November 2022, the Collaborative Music Contest was calling for music submissions that demonstrate the spirit of online music collaboration. Entrants had a chance to win a share of $ 46,561USD in prizes. The submitted music was heard by 14 judges made up of established artists and music industry practitioners and professionals.
In 2022, the contest featured 2 submission categories (Online Studio Collaboration and Online Live Jamming) as well as a THEME of ‘new meets old’, to which collaborating musicians were encouraged to respond. It was free to enter the contest and artists retained all ownership of the music that they submitted.
